Job summary

AAA Northeast is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to bridge business needs with IT solutions across departments. You will analyze processes, elicit requirements, and translate them into functional specifications to drive value.

You will lead testing plans, coordinate UAT, support deployments, and maintain documentation while building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 6-8 years of additional relevant experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
• 1+ years experience in analyzing and documenting business processes, requirements, and system specifications.
• 1+ years experience with software development lifecycles, project management methodologies, and testing/QA processes.
• 1+ years experience in feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and business cases.
• CBAP/CCBA or other certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Elicit, document, and validate business and system requirements via interviews, workshops, surveys, and analysis of existing systems.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for IT solutions.
• Collaborate with IT developers, architects, and stakeholders to design IT solutions that meet business requirements.
• Develop use cases, user stories, and process diagrams to guide development and implementation.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Assist in implementation and deployment, including system configuration, data migration, and user training.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and facilitate communications between business users and IT teams.
• Perform gap analyses, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses to support decisions.
• Monitor IT system performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation to support ongoing projects.
