Job summary

Maricopa County is seeking a Business Process Analyst to research, analyze, define, and document business processes, rules, and requirements to support enterprise solutions. The role includes recommending new methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Position requires in-office/field presence at least twice a week and offers tuition reimbursement, hybrid schedule, comprehensive healthcare, retirement benefits, and growth opportunities within Maricopa County.

Qualifications

• Two years of business process analysis and/or business requirements documentation experience in an information technology or business environment.
• Experience managing business components of simple to complex business process improvement projects and/or small system related implementations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a liaison between business and technology personnel and recommends process improvements.
• Consults, collaborates, and communicates with all levels of management including executive staff regarding business process initiatives and automation projects.
• Presents information and recommendations in written reports and oral presentations.
• Translates business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Creates test cases, coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT), and documents results.
