Job summary

Resourcesoft, Inc. is seeking an IT support specialist to triage and resolve service requests across enterprise platforms.

You will collaborate with development, network operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operation and timely issue resolution. Applicants bring 1–2 years in IT support, experience with ticketing systems (BMC Helix, Jira), Git, Python or Shell scripting, and cloud platforms like AWS.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of IT technical support or platform operations experience.
• Proficiency with enterprise ticketing systems (BMC Helix, Jira).
• Experience with Git and version control tooling.
• Experience in writing automation scripts (Python, Shell, JavaScript).
• Experience with Linux and AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting RESTful API integrations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for triaging requests.

Responsibilities

• Triage, categorize, and fulfill incoming service requests and access changes.
• Route complex platform defects to development teams with context.
• Validate configuration changes before production deployment.
• Maintain dashboards and track metrics for Incidents, Changes, and CMDB.
• Create SOPs, workflow diagrams, and knowledge base documents.
• Assist engineers with scripting, API integrations, and automation tasks.
• Collaborate with network and infra teams to resolve bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in IT technical support, platform operations, or software delivery ecosystems.
• Proficiency in enterprise ticketing and service management systems including BMC Helix and Jira.
• Experience with distributed version control systems and source code management tools like Git.
• Experience in writing foundational automation scripts utilizing Python, Shell, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Linux operating system environments and cloud-native platforms such as AWS.
• Experience in troubleshooting and testing web service integrations utilizing RESTful APIs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to triage operational requests and explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Route complex technical platform defects to development teams with comprehensive troubleshooting context.
• Validate and test system configuration changes prior to production deployment across enterprise platforms.
• Maintain and update operational dashboards, tracking metrics for Incident, Change, Work Order, and CMDB records.
• Author detailed standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, and knowledge base documentation for operational handoffs.
• Assist development engineers with foundational scripting, API-based integrations, and automated operational tasks.
• Collaborate with network operations and infrastructure teams to resolve recurring access and workflow bottlenecks.
