Job summary

WOW! is seeking a Business Sales Engineer in Livonia, Michigan. You will develop technical solutions and provide pre-sales support for Commercial Business Sales, assisting Account Executives and interfacing with customers.

The role requires 5 years in sales engineering and networking, strong communication, and familiarity with Metro Ethernet, VPNs, and VoIP. Travel up to 25% may be needed. WOW! offers solid benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent training/experience.
• 5 years of sales engineering and networking experience in telecom preferred.
• Cisco and VMware certifications preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with Account Executives and understand the sales cycle.
• Strong sales skills in presentation and proposal design.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary technical support to WOW! Business Commercial sales and support teams.
• Attend sales calls with Account Executives and assist in technical analysis and proposal design.
• Interface with clients and WOW! staff to ensure smooth service activation.
• Deliver technical training to Account Executives and support staff.
• Follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction with WOW! services.
• Lead RFQ responses and manage technical content of proposals.
