Job summary

Williams Companies seeks a Business Process Analyst II/III in Tulsa to identify and analyze business processes, develop solutions, and lead organizational change initiatives. You will use data analytics to support decisions and collaborate across teams.

You will test and implement new software applications, develop operational standards, and contribute to change management activities while maintaining a strong safety mindset and process improvement focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related major and five years of experience.
• Or High School Diploma/GED with seven years’ experience in data analysis, project management, process improvement, or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes existing business processes; assists with developing sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements
• Assists with process improvement opportunities, researches and develops operational standards and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased efficiency and reduced costs
• Applies data analysis and technological skills to fulfil data analysis requests, produce metric reports, and support business decisions using data
• Collaborates with multiple company partners to ensure organizational alignment and project success
• Assists in development of change management activities
• Other duties as assigned

As a Business Process Analyst II/III, you will identify and analyze processes and develop short and long term solutions for business needs to improve performance and lead organizational change activities. You will aid in testing and implement new software applications, provide technology and process consultation while using data analytics tools and applications to meet business needs. The ability to coordinate and collaborate with all levels of the organization are keys to success!

Responsibilities/Expectations:

Education/Years of Experience:

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related major and five (5) years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) years’ experience in data analysis, project management, process improvement, or other related experience

Other Requirements:

• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

• Preferred: Proficiency with analytics languages (i.e. SQL, Python, etc.) and platforms (i.e. Power BI, Microsoft Access, Oracle, and etc.)

• Preferred: Proficiency with process mapping and value stream mapping
