Our client is a fast-growing energy and defense technology company with an intense, SpaceX-style culture. It is well funded, recently passed 60 people, and is running several facility build-outs, a full rebrand and rapid hiring all at once.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. You will sit one seat from the CEO in the Office of the CEO, owning the loose ends across a fast-moving company, organizing them and handing them off clean. Strong performers can own a lane, such as people operations or commercial strategy, within 6 to 12 months.

What you'll do

• Track infrastructure and construction projects: contractor payments, invoices, completed work and cost breakdowns, ready whenever leadership asks
• Build people analytics and dashboards (hiring, retention, attrition) and turn them into board-ready slides
• Run cross-functional special projects such as the company rebrand, keeping trackers on agencies, website, logo and design hiring
• Automate and analyze data across HR, finance and recruiting tools to improve onboarding and internal systems
• Represent the company with executives, candidates, academics and at events

What we're looking for

• 0 to 4 years in business operations, consulting or go-to-market, ideally as an MBB or Big Four associate, or in SDR/BDR/BizOps at a seed to Series E startup
• Bachelor's degree from a top-50 university (STEM preferred, not required)
• Strong financial analysis and analytics skills, with excellent Excel/Google Sheets, deck-building and Notion skills
• A polished, executive-ready communicator who is comfortable with C-suite, investor, government and academic stakeholders
• Low ego and happy to switch between entry-level and high-level work
• US citizen, able to work on-site 5 days a week in San Leandro, CA (relocation OK)
