Critical Loop, Inc. is seeking a Business Operations Assistant (Student / Entry-Level) to support facilities and administrative tasks across Torrance and Long Beach.

The role is ideal for a student or early-career professional who is organized, reliable, and eager to learn about facilities operations in a growing startup environment. You will help with vendor coordination, office supplies, hospitality for meetings, and onboarding support, while gaining hands-on experience in operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in school, a recent graduate, or 0-2 years of work experience.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of following through.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable handling confidential information.
• Available 20 hours per week on-site in Torrance, CA.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more.
• Reliable mode of transportation for local driving during the workday, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities at Torrance and Long Beach sites, coordinating with outside vendors.
• Order and stock snacks, office supplies, and kitchen essentials.
• Plan and set up hospitality and catering for team meals, meetings and events.
• Prepare and ship packages to remote employees and manage mail and deliveries.
• Handle local errands between sites (mileage reimbursed).
• Assist People & Talent with onboarding needs.
• Support ad hoc administrative requests, including printing and day-to-day tasks.

About the Role

We're looking for a Business Operations Assistant to help keep the day-to-day running smoothly as we grow. You'll support our Business Operations team with facilities and hospitality needs, general administrative requests, and ad hoc requests as needed. This is a hands-on role for a student or someone early in their career who is organized, detail-oriented, and wants to learn about facilities operations for a growing start‑up company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance of facilities at our Torrance and Long Beach sites, working with outside vendors to keep both locations running smoothly
• Order and stock snacks, office supplies, and kitchen essentials so teams always have what they need
• Plan and set up hospitality and catering for team lunches, meetings, and events
• Prepare and ship packages to remote employees, and manage incoming mail and package pickup and delivery as needed
• Handle supply runs and local errands between sites as needed (reliable transportation required; mileage reimbursed)
• Assist People & Talent with new hire onboarding needs
• Support team with ad hoc administrative requests, including printing and other day-to-day needs

Preferred Requirements

Compensation

Pay range: $18 to $25 per hour
