Our 142-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility offers both Assisted Living and Long-Term Care services to meet the diverse needs of the senior community. Now Hiring a Full-Time Business Office Manager
Essential Job Functions Include:
Managing all aspects of billing, resident accounts, and accounts receivable
Overseeing Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing and collections
Assisting residents and families with financial questions and payment arrangements
Coordinating payroll, timekeeping, and employee benefit deductions
Ensuring compliance with financial, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements
Preparing monthly financial and census reports for the Administrator
Working with admissions to verify insurance and secure appropriate payer sources
Supervising office staff and ensuring effective business office operations
Collaborating with department heads and corporate finance team as needed
Assisting with audits, surveys, and budget processes
Requirements:
Two (2) years of college; AA Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care business office setting required
Strong working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing and collections
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
Qualifications:
Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
Demonstrates leadership and team collaboration skills
Strong customer service mindset, especially in sensitive resident/family situations
