Responsibilities

The Home Health Business Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, and directing the administrative support and non-clinical operations of the agency. Ensuring that all duties are performed in a timely manner is also part of this role.

  • Oversee and maintain contracts, binders, and HR/medical files for all agency employees and contract staff in accordance with policy and applicable regulations.
  • Review, reconcile, and submit invoices to Home Office in accordance with LHC Group policy. Ensure payments are issued timely, follow up on concerns, and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Perform and manage billing audits per policy and follow-up with corrections.
  • Manage clerical staff and all non-clinical workflow and processes in the office, including timely completion of clerical tasks, and participate in hiring, disciplinary, and separation decisions.
Education and Experience
  • At least 3 years of healthcare experience or 3 years of experience in an office administration role.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong process and people leadership abilities.
  • Experience with payroll, supply management, and basic financial knowledge is preferred.
