Bowling Green is seeking a Business Office Manager to maintain comprehensive records of financial transactions and oversee essential business office duties in a long-term care setting.
You will lead billing, accounts payable and receivable, reconcile ledgers, manage petty cash, and ensure logs and census tracking are accurate, while collaborating with department heads and interacting with families and residents to support high-quality care.
POSITION PURPOSE: The Business Office Manager maintains complete and systematic records of the financial transactions and a variety of other business office duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:
Responsible for management, oversight, and completion of billing process consistent with company policies, procedures and standards.
Manages and oversees business office functions in records, accounting, billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Directs billing functions, including accurate invoicing of all client services.
Manages petty cash/credit card.
Maintains all required and appropriate logs.
Consult with department heads to resolve errors in accounts.
Track census, census summary report.
Interacts with families and residents.
Reciepts, posts, and maintains accurate individual resident trust ledgers to meet federal and state regulations. Reconciles to bank statements.
EDUCATION/ REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of two years college required. Must have knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles. Must Have Long Term Care Experience.
