Business Manager – Food & CPG Accounts
$60,000 - $70,000 + Uncapped Commissions + car allowance and more

A rapidly expanding international food distributor is seeking a Business Manager to help drive growth across the Austin market. This field‑focused role supports both ethnic and mainstream grocery accounts, ideal for candidates with a background in food distribution, consumer packaged goods, or retail account management.

Responsibilities
- Manage, grow, and support a portfolio of grocery and specialty retail accounts within the Austin region.
- Present and promote a diverse product catalog to new and existing customers.
- Conduct needs assessments and provide product solutions that align with customer goals.
- Review sales and customer data using internal reporting tools to identify growth opportunities.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and territory performance metrics.
- Ensure planogram compliance and identify opportunities for off‑shelf displays.
- Prospect new business through outreach, store visits, and relationship‑building efforts.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and maintain high service standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams on promotions, inventory needs, and market feedback.
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, reporting, and sales documentation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in food distribution, CPG sales, route sales, merchandising, or client relationship management.
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Repsly, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Self‑driven, organized, and comfortable working independently in a field‑based role.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and perform merchandising or display setup when needed.
- Valid driver’s license, clean DMV, and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual in English and Arabic or Turkish preferred.
