Job summary

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer to design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions, data products, and automated processes supporting the Salesforce CRM environment for Institutional Advancement.

You will use SQL, ETL, and data modeling to transform institutional data into actionable information, manage the full reporting lifecycle, gather requirements, build dashboards, and explore AI-assisted reporting while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics or related field plus two years of BI experience; or high school diploma with six years of BI experience.
• Must have experience in two or more of SQL, data warehousing, semantic data models, or Epic Clarity.
• At least one year in a client-facing role delivering technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Salesforce reports, dashboards, and datasets.
• Gather requirements and translate business questions into accurate reports and data products.
• Define and document reporting logic, data definitions, and source-to-report relationships.
• Maintain a standardized report library with ownership and access controls.
• Develop reusable data models and standardized datasets to reduce duplicated work.
• Handle ad hoc requests while converting recurring needs into standardized solutions.
• Design and monitor AI-assisted reporting processes, including prompts and human-review checkpoints.
• Monitor AI outputs for accuracy, security, and compliance.
