Position Summary:

We seek a dynamic and skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team, focusing on cybersecurity services. Reporting to the VP of Resiliency Services, this role requires an energetic individual with a passion for sales and fluency in Salesforce. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) and a solid understanding of go-to-market (GTM) and sales strategies to drive impactful deal closures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the sales team in identifying and generating new business opportunities.
  2. Define and execute go-to-market strategies and drive sales efforts for specific products.
  3. Conduct outbound calls and emails to prospective clients.
  4. Schedule and support meetings, demos, and follow-ups.
  5. Maintain and update customer relationship management (Salesforce) systems.
  6. Assist in preparing sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
  7. Support customer onboarding and account management processes.
  8. Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams as needed.
  10. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including external partners, to execute sales.
  11. Analyze performance metrics to optimize sales effectiveness.
  12. Identify market trends and opportunities to inform strategy and decision-making.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  2. 3–5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in cybersecurity or technology sectors.
  3. Strong understanding of cybersecurity services and industry landscape.
  4. Proficiency in Salesforce and sales automation tools.
  5. Experience with sales analytics and data interpretation from platforms like Google Analytics.
  6. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  7. Proven project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  8. Deep knowledge of GTM and sales strategies, with ability to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
  9. Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive problem solver.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Experience in cybersecurity marketing or related fields.
  2. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  3. Salesforce certification or marketing analytics tools certification is a plus.
