Job description

Position Summary:
PTM Bio is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development / Sales professional to lead commercial
efforts for our Proteomics Services in the US. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, cultivating
strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth with key accounts in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical,
biotechnology, CRO, diagnostics, and academic sectors.
Job Location:
East Coast/West Coast/ Midwest Region/South Region (Remote)
Major Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new customer accounts for PTM Bio’s proteomics services, nurturing leads into
long-term business relationships.
Establish and grow strategic partnerships with pharma, biopharma, biotech, CRO, and diagnostic
companies. Negotiate collaboration, licensing, and co-marketing agreements to expand business
opportunities.
Provide strategic insights and perform competitive market analysis to identify growth opportunities and
guide partnership and investment strategies.
Collaborate with Product Management and R&D teams to refine service offerings based on market trends
and feedback from key customers and collaborators.
Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the proteomics field. Support
development and execution of proof-of-concept and pilot studies to promote new technologies.
Represent PTM Bio at national and regional conferences, trade shows, online events, and corporate
meetings.
Effectively communicate PTM Bio’s value proposition and vision beyond proteomics, supporting cross
platform engagement and brand expansion.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Biology, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular
Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related scientific discipline.
At least 1 year of account management or customer-facing experience in the biotech industry.
Experience engaging with pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or CRO clients is strongly preferred.
Proven track record in business development and/or sales of proteomics services is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of the proteomics analysis market is a plus.
Willingness to travel 25%–50% of the time.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
