SUMMARY

The Business Development Representative at Integrity National Corporation plays a pivotal role in increasing revenue and EBITDA by acquiring new clients and fostering profitable relationships. The BDM works closely with the Chief Executive Officer to achieve these objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Business Development:Execute Integrity’s business development strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives, focusing on acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing customers.
  • Client Relationship Management:Foster and maintain positive relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. Act as the primary point of contact for prospective client inquiries and concerns.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:Manage and cultivate a robust sales pipeline, identifying potential opportunities, and strategically pursuing new business through a combination of cold calls, networking, and other lead generation activities.
  • Market Analysis and Research:Utilizing market research information, identifying prospective client trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for preemptive strikes and value ads. Stay informed about industry developments and leverage this knowledge to make informed pursuit and capture if new business.
  • Proposal Development:Contribute to the development of compelling and competitive technical/business proposals. Collaborate with internal teams to contribute to customized solutions that address client needs and requirements effectively.
  • Revenue Growth:Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets, contributing to the financial success of the organization. Implement strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with internal departments, including operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of business development plans. Coordinate with team members to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of revenue growth in the CRM. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • A bachelor's or a master's degree required in the relevant industry, business administration, or business management would be preferred.
  • Successfully demonstrated 5+ years of experience, including finding, qualifying, and closing new business primarily through cold calls and self-generated leads.

Software Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Salesforce.com, or similar CRM tools.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
  • Demonstrated existing network of potential prospects in the government (Federal, State, local) and Supplier Diversity markets.
  • Experience selling facilities/building services including operations and maintenance, janitorial, integrated facilities services, or similar.
  • Track record of strong prospecting through cold calling via telephone, digital and industry associations and securing new profitable business located in the Mid-Atlantic with primary success in the DMV (Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia) geography.
  • Innate drive to succeed and take initiative. An aggressive salesperson who creates opportunities and sells into those opportunities.
  • Strong organizational talents and ability to work under pressure and in new environments.
  • Sound knowledge of the industry/client sectors, including sound knowledge of both private and public sector bidding procedures.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills.
  • Great at initiating business, excels at working independently, and has valuable networks to tap into.
  • Problem-solver who can handle rejection and is great at cold calling.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, facilitation skills, and ability to communicate with audiences ranging from large groups to individuals, normally in very senior roles.
  • Understanding of janitorial labor management in Union and non-Union environments.
  • Solution modeling and work loading, apply service line staffing, innovative practices, and tools as well as service delivery standards for solutions being developed to address customer needs is a plus

To be successful in this role, it is essential to have good business acumen with excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills. They should be comfortable working under stressful conditions, demonstrate high levels of integrity and commitment, and be able to motivate and influence people. Other attributes include discretion, a high level of professionalism, strong attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to facilitate and maintain positive customer relations with Integrity and affiliates' clients.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The work hours for the Business Development Representative are quite hectic, involving evenings and nights to fulfill major responsibilities. Travel on weekends and holidays may be required for client meetings, seminars, etc.
