Job Summary:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Medefy Health, you will be on the front lines of our sales efforts, driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities. Working under the guidance of the Sales Development Manager, you will support sales initiatives by building a robust lead pipeline, initiating outreach campaigns, and setting high-quality meetings for the sales team. This is a dynamic role for someone passionate about sales, eager to grow, and ready to make a meaningful impact in healthcare technology.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify prospective clients across targeted verticals.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and social media to generate qualified leads.
  • Qualify inbound leads and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Set and schedule meetings for Account Executive team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system (HubSpot preferred).
  • Assist in tracking lead activity, campaign performance, and sales KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Development Manager and sales team to improve messaging, targeting, and strategy.
  • Stay informed on Medefy's offerings, healthcare industry trends, and competitor landscape.
  • Attend virtual and in-person industry events and trade shows as needed to support lead generation efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Youmusthave at least the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing, sales, or lead generation role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with an eagerness to learn and exceed goals.
  • Ability to engage prospects professionally via phone, email, and social platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot experience a plus).

It would be great if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in SaaS or healthcare sales environments.
  • Familiarity with lead generation tools and sales automation platforms.
  • Previous experience selling to HR, benefits, or C-suite decision-makers.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and articulate complex digital solutions.

Supervisory Duties:No supervisory duties.

Travel Requirements Percentage: 25-50% Travel

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods working at a computer and using digital communication tools.
  • Occasional travel for industry events (25 - 50%).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.
