Business Development Representative (East Coast)

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be on the front lines of our growth engine. You’ll identify and connect with recruiting leaders, talent teams, and hiring managers across fast-scaling companies who are looking for better ways to hire.

You’ll work closely with the GTM team to craft compelling outbound messaging, test new sales strategies, and book qualified meetings with the right prospects. This role is perfect for someone who wants to break into SaaS sales, thrives on experimentation, and can handle fast-moving startup life with energy and optimism.

What You’ll Do
  • Research and identify ideal customer profiles across industries
  • Build and execute targeted outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and book discovery calls for the sales team
  • Track and manage activity in our CRM with precision and discipline
  • Continuously test and refine messaging and outreach strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing to align on lead gen efforts and campaign themes
  • Stay on top of industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive positioning
  • Represent Unkover with professionalism and enthusiasm in every interaction
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • 1–2 years of experience in a BDR/SDR, recruiting, or client-facing sales role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset
  • Passion for startups, AI, and modern hiring tech
  • Resilience and grit—you’re not afraid to send that follow-up or make that next call
  • Comfortable using tools like HubSpot, Apollo, or similar CRM/outreach platforms
  • Based on the East Coast
