Job Title: Business Development Representative

Location: Texas, remote first

Salary: $55,000 base salary + $30,000 commission Y1

Do you want to be part of a global sales team, spearheading growth in the USA?

We are working with a fast-growing SaaS start-up disrupting the maritime industry, challenging companies to ditch Outlook and Gmail for a more efficient, smarter, and streamlined team shared mailbox.

On average, C-level executives receive 1 email every 15 seconds—that’s 2000 emails PER DAY. Outlook and Gmail are not optimized for this volume, but our client’s solution is. They eliminate 70% of the noise associated with traditional email platforms.

The company has closed its Series C funding round, bringing total funding to over $86 million (the same VC fund that invested in Monzo and IPO’d Cazoo), and is experiencing exponential growth. They are expanding their sales team and seeking two superstar Business Development Representatives to lead their growth in the US.

As their ideal customer profile (ICP) is maritime organizations, the role involves significant travel and attendance at industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business leads and strengthen existing relationships.
  • Use prospecting and research tools, coordinate with team members to qualify opportunities, and book pitch meetings with target prospects.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve sales development strategies.
  • Implement sales development best practices via email, phone, and social media using enablement technology to connect with prospects.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute prospect communication plans.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality and quantity of product demonstrations.
