Job Title: Business Development Representative (Part-Time)
Hours: 30 hours/week
Compensation: $20.00/hour
Reports To: CEO

Position Summary
This is a dynamic, high-ownership role for someone excited to work across multiple areas of a fast-growing startup. You’ll work directly with the CEO and play a key role in both strategic initiatives and daily execution. The role includes supporting business development through outreach and onboarding of retail partners, organizing international sales efforts, and maintaining CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
You’ll also help coordinate marketing efforts and event logistics, including securing on-course nutrition placements and supporting field marketing on weekends as needed. Flexibility is key - you’ll jump into cross-functional projects, assist with research, and help keep things moving across the business. This role is ideal for someone resourceful, organized, and energized by variety and growth.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Business Development & Retail Growth
●Respond to inbound retailer inquiries and support onboarding
●Conduct outreach to potential US retail partners (run shops, bike stores, outdoor
●Research, organize, and coordinate outreach to international distributors and sales partners
●Maintain CRM and sales tracking tools
Marketing & Events
●Coordinate logistics and partnerships for races and athletic events
●Assist with securing on-course nutrition placements and event sponsorships
●Support field marketing events as necessary.
Operations & General Support
●Jump in on cross-functional projects and admin tasks as needed
●Assist the CEO with one-off tasks, research, or coordination.
Qualifications, Education, & Experience Desired
● You are an endurance athlete who understands firsthand the challenges of fueling during training and racing - and you’re passionate about helping others solve that problem.
●You have a solid understanding of sports nutrition and what the body needs during sustained physical activity, whether through personal experience, self-education, or informal training.
●A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) is required; a college degree is not.
●Prior experience in sales, business development, or account management - especially in a B2B setting - is a plus, but not required if you bring the right mindset and passion.
●You’re a strong communicator: approachable, high-energy, and confident in both written and verbal interactions.
●You’re organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple threads at once and follow through consistently.
●Comfortable using Google Sheets or Excel to track and analyze data.
●Familiarity with CRM tools (like HubSpot or Salesforce) or platforms like Shopify is a
bonus.
Bonus Points If You Have:
●Experience with Shopify, Hubspot, Excel.
●Experience working in sports nutrition, events, retail, or sales

Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds. Candidates must be able to transport these items to and from storage, vehicles, and event locations. The role also involves setting up and taking down event booths, which may require bending, lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
Travel Required: This position may require occasional travel to regional events. While a company vehicle is not provided, candidates should have reliable access to a personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license for legal operation. Some trips may involve extended driving times. Approved mileage and travel-related expenses will be reimbursed according to company policy. Overnight stays may occasionally be required, with accommodations arranged and covered by the company.
Overtime: This is a part-time position, generally scheduled for approximately 30 hours per week. However, additional hours may occasionally be available, particularly during peak event periods. Overtime is not required but may be offered and mutually agreed upon in advance. All hours worked beyond 40 hours in a single workweek will be compensated in accordance with federal and Colorado state overtime laws.

Compliance Note:
