Job description

The role:

TransVirtual, a leading provider of Transport Management Software (TMS), is looking to complement its sales team with an experienced Business Development Representative (SDR) in the North America market.

This role serves as a vital link in servicing inquiries, following up on a prospect pipeline, and carefully qualifying businesses to hand over to our Account Executive channel.

You will have experience in building and pursuing a prospect pipeline, having worked in a fast-paced environment with monthly sales quotas. This is a rare opportunity to make your mark in an evolving team.

You'll be comfortable engaging with decision makers from owner operators and operational leaders to other senior staff. A self-sufficient and ‘go-getter' attitude is key, with full sales training and development provided for the right candidate to further their career.

Your key stakeholders will include our Head of Sales, Account Executive (North America), and our General Manager.

Essential Skills / qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience in sales qualification and lead chasing.
  • No fear of cold calling — it's a numbers game!
  • Experience managing a contact pipeline and CRM updates (we use HubSpot).
  • Attitude is key; we can help develop your sales skills.
  • Experience working with marketing campaigns to drive effective appointments.
  • A history of meeting and exceeding sales quotas based on qualified leads.
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to maximize results.
Desired Skills:
  • Marketing degree or equivalent — maturity in thinking is desired.
  • Understanding or experience in logistics sector or SaaS businesses.
  • Strong CRM skills with attention to detail and diligent record-keeping.
  • Ability to connect with customers immediately, qualify, and refer to the AE channel.
  • Great team player who values collaboration to meet shared goals.
