The role:

TransVirtual, a leading provider of Transport Management Software (TMS), is looking to complement its sales team with an experienced Business Development Representative (SDR) in the North America market.

This role serves as a vital link in servicing inquiries, following up on a prospect pipeline, and qualifying businesses to hand over to our Account Executive channel.

You should have experience in building and pursuing a prospect pipeline, ideally in a fast-paced environment with monthly sales quotas. This is a rare opportunity to make your mark in an evolving team.

You will have prior experience engaging decision makers from owner-operators to operational leaders and senior staff. A self-sufficient, proactive attitude is essential, with full sales training and development provided for the right candidate.

Your key stakeholders will include our Head of Sales, the Account Executive (North America), and our General Manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience in sales qualification and lead chasing
  • No fear of cold calling – it's a numbers game!
  • Experience managing a contact pipeline and CRM updates (HubSpot)
  • Positive attitude; sales skills can be developed
  • Experience with marketing campaigns to generate appointments
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas with qualified leads
  • Ability to adapt quickly to maximize results
Desired Skills:
  • Marketing degree or equivalent; mature thinking
  • Understanding of logistics sector or SaaS businesses
  • Strong CRM skills, attention to detail, diligent record-keeping
  • Ability to connect immediately with customers, qualify leads, and pass to AE
