Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Global Financial Services Business Development Manager for SMB North America. You will lead financing growth initiatives across Lenovo's SMB segment, focusing on scalable programs, partner engagement, and adoption of financing solutions across North America.

You will collaborate with SMB sales, Inside Sales, Digital Sales, and Channel teams to drive campaigns, train sellers, and improve financing execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in financial services sales experience supporting SMB or mid-market organizations.

• Increase financing penetration across Lenovo SMB opportunities.
• Partner closely with SMB sales teams, Inside Sales, Digital Sales, and Channel organizations.

• Create and deliver financing enablement and sales training.
• Track performance and identify market growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to launch financing campaigns.
• Work with credit, operations, and funding partners to ensure efficient deal execution.
• Establish scalable best practices that can be replicated across the SMB business.

Lenovo Global Financial Services Business Development Manager – SMB North America

The LGFS SMB BDM will lead financing growth initiatives across Lenovo's Small and Medium Business segment in North America. The role will focus on scalable financing programs, seller enablement, partner engagement, and increasing financing adoption within the SMB customer base.

• Increase financing penetration across Lenovo SMB opportunities.
• Partner closely with SMB sales teams, Inside Sales, Digital Sales, and Channel organizations.
• Drive awareness and adoption of standard financing programs and promotions.
• Simplify financing execution and improve seller experience.
• Create and deliver financing enablement and sales training.
• Track performance and identify market growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial services sales experience supporting SMB or mid-market organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading financing solutions for enterprise technology acquisitions, infrastructure modernization, digital transformation initiatives, and technology refresh programs.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing financing strategies for enterprise technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of technology refresh cycles, lifecycle management, asset utilization, and consumption-based financing models.
• Experience partnering with sales organizations to accelerate deal progression and increase financing attach rates.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with innovative consumption models, Technology-as-a-Service, Device-as-a-Service (DaaS), and outcome-based financing solutions.
• Experience working with OEM, captive finance, banking, leasing, or technology financing organizations.
• Track record of successfully structuring large, complex, and strategic financing transactions.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed sales environment supporting enterprise and channel customers.
