Job summary

Adecco has partnered with a global manufacturing company in Tempe, AZ to hire a Business Development Manager to spearhead the introduction of a new flow meter into targeted market segments, starting with Biopharmaceutical and Semiconductor.

You will work with Sales and Engineering to develop the sales channel, champion the product, drive key account sales, and create marketing collateral and promotional strategies.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years sales/marketing experience
• Technical degree required
• Process control or instrumentation knowledge an asset
• Experience with key OEMs in target industries (Biopharma, Semiconductor)
• Proven track record in developing new market segments
• Experience managing and building distribution channels

Responsibilities

• Develop the sales channel direct to end-users and via channel partners
• Champion the product internally and externally
• Drive sales at key accounts
• Identify key applications within targeted end-markets
• Provide hands-on technical customer support
• Develop marketing collateral and drive promotional strategy
• Understand and communicate the competitive landscape
• Communicate differentiation and value proposition
• Manage key accounts and acquire/develop new customers
• Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans
• Identify and penetrate new market segments
• Provide monthly sales forecasts
• Be accountable for achieving budget/sales targets
• Deliver training presentations to internal and external audiences
• Travel up to 50% (domestic)
