Job summary

Planar Systems seeks a dynamic Business Development Manager with deep AV/IT industry experience to drive growth through relationships with consultants and architects. You will articulate Planar's visual display solutions to the design community and aim to increase revenue from AV consultants and architects-driven projects.

Reporting to the General Manager - CAD Group, you will collaborate with senior customers and internal teams, implement strategic plans, and identify new growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years AV selling experience with direct relationships in consultants and architecture communities.
• Proven ability to develop partnerships with AV consultants and architects.
• Strong CRM usage and sales pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with AV consultants and the Architect community.
• Identify, qualify and quantify business opportunities through industry consultants and architects.
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Marketing and Sales to ensure superior service delivery and profitability.
• Represent the company at industry associations, trade groups and vendor events to increase visibility.
• Travel 50% or more to meet clients and build relationships.
