Job summary

Planar Systems is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with extensive AV/IT industry experience to build and grow relationships with AV consultants and architects in the design community. You will showcase Planar's visual display technology solutions to drive revenue from projects led by consultants and architects.

You will report to the General Manager - CAD Group and work with senior customers and internal teams to develop strategic plans, identify growth opportunities, and increase

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor’s degree required with 10+ years of AV selling experience.
• Direct relationships with AV consultants and architects.
• Experience delivering content and technology solutions within AV consultant community.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with AV consultants and Architects.
• Identify, qualify and quantify business opportunities via industry consultants and architects.
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Marketing and Sales to ensure service delivery and profitability.
• Represent the company externally at industry associations and events.
