Job summary

Planar Systems is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with AV/IT industry experience to grow revenue from projects involving professional AV consultants and architects.

You will partner with the CAD group and senior customers, shaping and executing plans to expand market share, identify growth opportunities, and deliver profitable outcomes across the Planar product portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of AV selling experience with direct relationships to consultants and architects.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans to win AV projects.
• Strong CRM and communication skills; able to drive growth with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with AV consultants and architect community.
• Identify, qualify and quantify business opportunities through industry partners.
• Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Marketing and Sales to ensure service and profitability.
• Represent the company externally at industry events to increase visibility.
