Job summary

Planar Systems in Los Angeles is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with AV/IT industry experience to drive revenue growth through relationships with consultants and architects.

You will report to the General Manager - CAD Group and partner with Operations, R&D, Marketing and Sales to identify opportunities, develop strategic plans, and expand Planar’s market presence with AV design communities. Willingness to travel 50% is expected.

Qualifications

10+ years of AV selling experience with direct relationships in AV consultants and architecture community.
Experience delivering content and technology solutions within AV consultant community.
Extensive experience in Customer Relationship Management.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain relationships with AV consultants and architects; develop partnerships and executive relationships.
Identify, qualify and quantify business opportunities through industry consultants and architects.
Collaborate with Operations, R&D, Marketing and Sales to ensure service delivery and growth.
Represent the company externally with customers and industry associations.
Monitor trends and anticipate future market changes affecting Planar.
