Job Title: Business Development Manager – Aerospace Industry (Remote Midwest)

Location: Remote – Preferably based in Minnesota or surrounding Midwest states

Travel: ~50% (Primarily by car; minimal air travel)

About the Role

Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for aerospace and a strong technical mindset? We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team and lead sales efforts across an established Midwest territory.

In this key role, you’ll manage existing client relationships, identify and close new business opportunities, and work closely with OEMs, Tier 1 & Tier 2 machine shops, and engineering teams to deliver customized solutions within the aerospace and defense sector.

  • Manage and grow a well-established book of aerospace industry clients
  • Develop new business across the Midwest region
  • Build and nurture relationships with machine shops, OEMs, and engineering teams
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and leadership teams to support technical sales conversations
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, strategic meetings, and HQ visits
  • Report directly to the company President
  • Experienced B2B sales professional with a background in manufacturing or aerospace
  • Technically minded – able to interpret and speak to engineered drawings and precision parts
  • Comfortable with regular travel (~50%) and working independently from a remote location
  • Strong communicator, proactive, and relationship-driven
  • Based in the Midwest region (Minnesota preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical or engineering education/experience strongly preferred
  • Previous experience working with aerospace clients (e.g., Boeing, SpaceX, Bell Helicopter, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell)
