Job summary

GateSource HR is assisting a global organization in the mining and heavy equipment industry in finding a Business Development Specialist who combines technical expertise, hands-on mine site experience, and strong commercial acumen.

This role is not a traditional sales position; you will translate mineral processing knowledge into new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and travel regularly to mine sites to support field operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in the mining/mineral processing industry is required.
• Experience with mill inspections, relines, wear measurements, and/or grinding circuits is preferred.
• Understanding of mill liners, fixed plant, wear solutions, or related products is valuable.
• Ability to translate technical knowledge into business development opportunities is essential.

This is not a traditional sales-only position. We’re looking for someone who understands mineral processing operations and has worked directly in the field.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in the mining / mineral processing industry
• Experience with mill inspections, relines, wear measurements, and/or grinding circuits
• Understanding of mill liners, fixed plant, wear solutions, or related products
• Ability to translate technical knowledge into business development opportunities
• Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel regularly to mine sites
