JMJ PHILLIP is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand market presence in the furniture manufacturing industry. You will manage OEM accounts, develop strategic plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

The role involves building long-term relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering presentations to key stakeholders across purchasing, engineering, operations, and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or B2B sales.
  • Experience working with OEM customers or manufacturing-related industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic account plans and manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing a sales territory.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts and develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Prepare pricing proposals, support contract negotiations, and drive profitable sales growth.

  • Represent the organization professionally during customer visits, meetings, and industry events; deliver consultative solutions.

Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to develop new business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market presence within the furniture manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience managing OEM accounts, driving revenue growth, and delivering strategic customer solutions. The successful candidate will build long-term partnerships while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Position Responsibilities
Account Management
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive account support.
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.
  • Develop strategic account plans to increase market share and revenue.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve business growth objectives.
Sales Strategy & Negotiation
  • Prepare pricing proposals, support contract negotiations, and drive profitable sales growth.
  • Monitor sales forecasts and maintain accurate pipeline reporting.
  • Execute territory sales strategies aligned with business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with technical, product management, customer service, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Customer Engagement
  • Represent the organization professionally during customer visits, meetings, and industry events.
  • Deliver presentations and provide consultative solutions based on customer needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships across purchasing, engineering, operations, and executive leadership teams.
Prerequisites
  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or B2B sales.
  • Experience working with OEM customers or manufacturing-related industries is highly desirable.
