Reboot Electronic Recycling is a fast growing IT Asset Disposition and electronic recycling company helping organizations nationwide securely manage retired technology.

We provide end to end ITAD solutions including secure data destruction, IT asset recovery, electronics recycling, office and data center decommissioning, equipment remarketing, reverse logistics, and comprehensive client reporting.

Our approach is built around protecting sensitive data, maximizing the recovery value of retired technology, extending the useful life of equipment, and responsibly recycling devices that can no longer be reused.

As Reboot continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to help expand our client base and build long term strategic relationships.

Position Overview

Reboot is seeking a proven Business Development Executive with experience selling IT Asset Disposition, IT lifecycle services, enterprise technology services, reverse logistics, or related solutions.

The primary responsibility of this position is to identify, develop, and close new mid market and enterprise client relationships. We are looking for someone who can independently create opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry relationships, events, and strategic outreach.

The ideal candidate has an existing network of IT and business decision makers and understands how to engage IT Directors, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT Asset Managers, Procurement Leaders, Facilities Leaders, Operations Executives, and other stakeholders.

You will work with organizations to understand how they currently manage retired technology and position solutions that improve data security, simplify logistics and asset disposition, maximize financial recovery, and support sustainability objectives.

The goal is not simply to close individual projects. We want to develop long term partnerships with organizations that view Reboot as an extension of their IT, security, procurement, and facilities teams.

While Reboot supports organizations nationwide, this role will initially have a strong focus on expanding our presence throughout the East Coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies targeting mid market and enterprise organizations
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified ITAD opportunities
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, strategic partnerships, industry events, and targeted outreach
• Build relationships with IT Directors, CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT Asset Managers, Procurement Leaders, Facilities Leaders, Operations Executives, and other key stakeholders
• Position Reboot's services including IT Asset Disposition, secure data destruction, IT asset recovery, electronics recycling, office and data center decommissioning, equipment remarketing, reverse logistics, and client reporting
• Identify device refresh cycles, lease expirations, office closures, data center projects, hardware upgrades, mergers and acquisitions, and other events that create ITAD opportunities
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand client requirements, current processes, security requirements, and business objectives
• Develop and deliver proposals and presentations demonstrating the financial, operational, security, and sustainability value of working with Reboot
• Manage sales opportunities from initial prospecting through proposal, negotiation, contract execution, and handoff to operations
• Collaborate closely with Reboot's Operations and Leadership teams throughout the sales process
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, opportunity management, and sales activity within HubSpot
• Represent Reboot at conferences, networking events, industry associations, and client meetings
• Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives

Required Experience

• 3+ years of successful business development or enterprise sales experience within ITAD, managed IT services, enterprise hardware, electronics recycling, reverse logistics, device lifecycle management, VAR, MSP, or another related technology service
• Demonstrated ability to independently generate new opportunities and win new business
• Existing relationships with IT decision makers across healthcare, financial services, education, government, technology, legal, commercial real estate, or other mid market and enterprise organizations are highly valued
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Experience managing complex, multi stakeholder B2B sales cycles with consistent and disciplined follow up
• Experience identifying device refresh opportunities and technology lifecycle initiatives
• Working knowledge of data security, compliance, IT asset management, and sustainability considerations within enterprise environments
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
• Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, or another CRM platform
• Experience using prospecting platforms such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Comfortable utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar platforms to improve productivity and sales effectiveness
