Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps requirements and support field trials, demonstrations, and partner engagements across expeditionary environments.

The role collaborates with Engineering and Business Development, travels up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings, and contributes to roadmap inputs while pursuing a SECRET clearance pathway.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or 5+ years defence tech experience.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, and tactical comms.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Ability to obtain Government SECRET clearance within 15 months.
• TCP/IP networking, Linux, or scripting (Python, C++).

Responsibilities

• Support Marine Corps network design and field tests across environments.
• Demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios.
• Collaborate with BD and engineering to translate requirements into roadmap inputs.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer meetings.
• Coordinate with MARCORSYCOM, MCWL, and naval centers.
