Job summary

IQVIA is hiring an Associate Business Development Director for Safety & Regulatory Solutions. The role focuses on selling services and technology to life sciences clients across the US, including the Greater Boston area, NY/NJ, VA/DC, and California corridors.

You will drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and collaborate with SMEs and services teams to deliver value. Travel up to 50% is expected; a Bachelor's degree or higher is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years selling professional services to Pharma/Biotech/Medical Device/Clinical Research orgs.
• Experience selling to senior management in fast-paced growth environments.
• Full sales cycle experience: prospect, identify, propose, negotiate, close.
• Strong written and verbal English; proposal writing/management experience.
• Willing to travel up to 50% across the US.
• Residence in the greater Boston area, NY/NJ, VA/DC metro or CA.

Responsibilities

• Prospect accounts focusing on Safety and Regulatory products and services.
• Identify and develop new accounts and follow up on existing leads.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key target accounts.
• Manage accounts to generate incremental and repeatable annual business.
• Lead RFI/RFP processes and negotiate terms for programs and projects.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to deliver software and service solutions.
• Expand product portfolio sales in Safety and Regulatory market.
• Coordinate with Executives and SMEs to maximize account coverage.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory guidelines affecting the industry.
