Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Business Development Director – Safety & Regulatory Solutions to expand sales across life sciences, engaging with Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device, and CRO clients. The role covers the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, requiring travel up to 50% and residency in targeted US regions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years track record selling professional services to Pharma/Biotech/MedDev/ CROs
• Ability to engage senior management in a fast-paced growth environment
• Full sales cycle experience: identify, propose, negotiate, close
• Strong written/verbal English, quality proposal writing and management
• Ambitious, driven, self-motivated in a high-velocity sales org
• Bachelor’s degree or higher required

Responsibilities

• Prospect accounts focusing on Safety and Regulatory products and services
• Identify and develop new accounts and follow up on existing leads
• Maintain productive relationships with key target accounts
• Manage assigned accounts to generate incremental and repeatable yearly business
• Lead RFI/RFP process and negotiate terms for programs/projects
• Collaborate with Professional Services to ensure delivery of software and services
• Expand sale of product portfolio in Safety and Regulatory market
• Collaborate with Executives/SMEs to maximize coverage
• Stay updated on changing regulatory guidelines affecting the industry
