Our Private Wealth Management (PWM) division is seeking a coordinator for its PWM Business Development (BD) team. The PWM Business Development team, comprised of regional consultants (BDCs) and associates (BDAs) is an established group with a mission to grow revenues and improve profitability by acting as an internal ‘management consultant’ and ‘practice management coach’ to Market Director, Branch Leaders, and Financial Advisor Practices. This Business Development group plays a leadership role in our regionally aligned Wealth Center – a team of functional experts that come together to elevate the business outcomes and client experience by partnering with our Financial Advisor Practices. In addition to coaching and consulting our branch network, the business development team is instrumental in building and partnering across the PWM platform on strategic initiatives.
Partnering with the Business Development team to drive consistency, engagement, and business outcomes across our branch network and with our internal Wealth Center and Wealth Solutions Group teams, the Business Development Coordinator will play an important role to support PWM’s strategic and growth initiatives.
As a Business Development Coordinator, you will:
- Collaborate with the Business Development team on day-to-day operations to enable high quality communication, team alignment and efficiencies.
- Organize and facilitate team meetings, including preparing agendas, recording notes and following up on action items to maintain the momentum created by the meeting.
- Act as the central point of contact for all team members, ensuring effective communication across the team.
- Coordinates project schedules, tasks and assignments to ensure timely project completion.
- Partner with Business Development colleagues to centralize key tasks to drive consistency, efficiency, and superior outcomes for the team and the Advisor practices we engage.
- Create and maintain consulting library to ensure accuracy, accessibility and consistent utilization of key team resources.
- Proactively develop and maintain team content and resources including presentations, BairdWeb, videos, agendas and reports.
- Manage and enhance the utilization and reporting of team CRM.
- Play lead role in annual practice priority development and execution.
- Support the coordination and execution of growth forums. Play a leading role in managing invite and registration, focus survey development and responses.
- Act as a liaison with internal partners in our Wealth Center and Wealth Solutions Group - the platform of experts and solutions for PWM, Operations, and Corporate Events – to foster communication and collaboration.
- Take a leading role in organizing and facilitating Wealth Center leader meetings.
- Over time, a successful Business Development Coordinator will be expected to proactively generate ideas for the team, take on Business Development Associate duties and to travel modestly to branch offices to help advisors and managers in person.
