Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Identify opportunities to expand RJY Group's core business and follow up with Points of Contact regarding posted or pre-solicitation opportunities.
- Manage responses to market research, RFI, and sources sought requests.
- Develop detailed market research reports for potential bid opportunities using third-party software and government websites.
- Assess current business development processes and recommend improvements.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings on opportunities and document minutes.
- Coordinate RSVPs for site visits and business events such as Industry Days.
- Attend site visits and events locally and nationwide as a second option.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term strategies with vendors, including teaming, Mentor-Protege, and joint ventures.
- Engage potential subcontractors to secure commitments for current solicitations.
- Review solicitations with Operations to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Perform pricing analysis for proposals and obtain final approval from leadership.
- Complete reviews and tasks to ensure successful bid submissions.
- Prepare estimates and sales orders in NetSuite for services and projects.
- Record lessons learned from successful and unsuccessful proposals.
- Assist in developing business plans for specific areas of operation.
- Develop strategies to enter new business areas.
- Engage prime contractors and current vendors for subcontracting and prime opportunities.
- Research future clients, subcontractors, and agencies, and record information promptly.
- Assist in creating marketing campaigns targeting specific audiences.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong team-player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift over 25 lbs.
