Senior Business Development Coordinator - Elite Law Firm

Our elite global law firm client is seeking to recruit a Senior Business Development Coordinator to execute business development, client development, and strategic marketing initiatives for the firm's global financial services practice.

Responsibilities:
  1. Execute business development, client development, and strategic marketing initiatives for the firm's global financial services.
  2. Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, implement strategic plans for individual attorneys, partners, practice groups, client teams, and industry groups across the US.
  3. Analyze and report on the progress of all marketing objectives.
  4. Provide hands-on marketing and business development support, including preparing pitches, proposals, RFPs/RFIs, and marketing collateral.
  5. Assist with awards, rankings, and directory submission processes.
  6. Coordinate and administer events, speaking engagements, sponsorships, and thought leadership initiatives with colleagues.
  7. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Group to obtain and analyze client, prospective client, and market research to identify business opportunities and competitive advantages.
  8. Create and distribute marketing collateral and thought leadership pieces.
  9. Assist the internal communications team with the award submission process.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree.
  2. 3+ years of relevant marketing, communications, or business development support experience.
  3. Highly motivated with a keen interest in developing a long-term career in legal business development and marketing.
  4. Exposure to Financial Services is preferred.
  5. Advanced analytical skills and the ability to process and summarize complex information.
  6. Demonstrated ability to execute and achieve measurable results.
  7. Excellent communication, writing, editing, and presentation skills.
  8. Proven ability to work under high pressure and in stressful environments.
  9. Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  10. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  11. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  12. Resourceful, motivated, and driven with a 'can do' attitude.
