Job summary

Jenkins Kia of Crystal River is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDC) to be the first point of contact for customers and to connect people with the right vehicle in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

The role offers a full-time schedule with compensation consisting of hourly pay based on experience, uncapped commissions, and performance incentives with career advancement opportunities within Jenkins Automotive Group.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using computers, CRM software, texting, and email.
• Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
• Self-motivated with goal orientation.
• Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound sales calls using dealership processes.
• Follow up with customers who inquired online, by phone, text, or email.
• Schedule appointments for our sales team.
• Follow up with missed appointments and previous showroom visitors.
• Confirm upcoming sales and service appointments.
• Work aged and active customer leads.
• Track sold vehicles and customer follow-up opportunities.
• Work internet leads with the goal of scheduling dealership visits.
• Maintain accurate customer records in CRM.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

As a Business Development Representative, you'll help create an outstanding customer experience by:

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment and requires prolonged sitting, frequent computer use, phone communication, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
