The role emphasizes building a robust pipeline, collaborating with partners to fulfill lending and cash management needs, and handling credit applications through to closing. Strong communication and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service and supervisory roles.
• 2+ years of business development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for business development in the assigned territory with 50–60% of time on activities.
• Supports Branch Manager with leadership and management of branch service, sales and operations as needed.
• Builds pipeline of current and future business prospects through market research and business calling.
• Collaborates with internal/external partners to meet commercial lending, cash management and merchant service needs.
• Takes small business and home equity loan applications and liaises with loan processor until closing.
• Opens new business and personal accounts; cross-sells bank products; performs service transactions including wire transfers and fee waivers.
• Maintains general bank security and adheres to policies and regulatory requirements.
