Job summary

Affinity FCU is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Basking Ridge, NJ. The role focuses on processing, interpreting and documenting business processes, with the goal of improving efficiencies using IT and business functions.

You will assist with discovery, requirements elicitation, and translating requirements into technical solutions, coordinating UAT and implementation. The starting pay range is $70,000 to $75,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or Business Analyst Certificate or 3 years of experience working in a credit union or bank or experience documenting and managing requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Visio or LucidChart or similar flowcharting application.

Responsibilities

• Conducts evaluation of end-to-end processes and accurately document business discovery sessions with internal stakeholders to assess their needs.
• Create, review, and update current process documents as needed and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
• Act as a point of contact, liaising between the Project Manager/Lead, team members, and vendors to ensure requirements are met.
• Evaluate business requirements in the context of our overall system architecture, including end-to-end experience for consumer and back office.
• Define and develop Epics, Stories, Acceptance Criteria and UAT scripts and training material to execute the development and implementation of defined solutions.
• Translate the business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform gap analysis between business requirements and current state of systems and data; develop solution design options and recommendations.
• Coordinate information gathering for audits and exams by governing bodies (e.g. NCUA) and help find resolutions.
• Assist with upgrades and releases with a focus on managing UAT and testing plans.
