Job summary

Affinity Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support and act as a technical expert for business systems managed by Business Solutions. You will gather requirements, develop advanced solutions, and work with IT, business units, and shared services to improve processes and system usage.

The role involves elicitation workshops, testing, UAT, and coordinating changes across projects. A related degree or 3+ years in the credit union space is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or Business or Systems Analyst Certificate or 3+ years of credit union experience with DNA, Loan Director, or similar core systems.
• Experience with applications managed by Business Solutions and proactively recommending changes to improve efficiency.
• Ability to translate highly conceptual business needs into implementable solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative work style.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Smartsheet, Salesforce, Microsoft Project, and Office tools.
• Experience with Visio or similar flowcharting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for business systems and respond to inquiries within SLAs.
• Develop modifications and enhancements and serve as an analytics resource for data output.
• Stay current with technology features and industry trends and suggest adoption where appropriate.
• Perform advanced data analysis and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Define system requirements using documentation and resolve complex process factors.
• Coordinate UAT, testing plans, criteria, and results with business areas.
• Manage the application change control process and assist with upgrades and releases.
• Act as IT liaison to the assigned business area and become SME for data and requirements.
• Coordinate information gathering for audits and exams by governing bodies.
• Support SDLC activities and assist project teams through delivery.
