Job summary

Platacard Identity team seeks a Business Analyst to shape data collection, consent, and regulatory compliance across product launches. You will model processes, document requirements, and ensure data quality throughout the customer journey in a highly collaborative environment.

You will interact with product, Compliance, KYC, and Origination teams, translating business needs into system changes and data governance rules.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as CS, engineering or IS.
• Strong understanding of business processes and modelling.
• Proficient SQL: writing queries with joins and aggregations.
• Basic Python and understanding of databases.
• Ability to work with performance metrics and data quality.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration; English B2+.

Responsibilities

• Describe and develop processes for collecting, processing, and using customer personal data.
• Support new product launches from the data side and ensure required legal consents.
• Gather requirements from product teams and Compliance and translate into system changes.
• Create and maintain business processes for new product launches.
• Set up and monitor data quality metrics and dashboards.
• Verify master data transfers between systems and investigate discrepancies.
• Contribute to deduplication, merging, identification, and version control rules.
• Analyze current personal data handling processes including validation and normalization.
• Prepare documentation and artifacts like BPMN, UML, and data-flow diagrams.
• Coordinate day-to-day communication across product teams, Compliance, KYC, and Origination.

Job description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Identity team, one of the key infrastructure areas of the bank.

The team is responsible for the centralized storage, processing, and quality of customer master data. We maintain a single source of truth about users - validation, normalization, deduplication, and distribution of data across company systems - and provide services to every product team in the bank.

In this role, you will support new product launches - credit, debit, investment, insurance, and others - from the perspective of correct personal data collection, legal consents, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a role with a lot of cross-team interaction, where understanding business processes, shaping requirements, and keeping data quality under control at every step of the customer journey matter most.

Challenges that await you:

• Describing and developing the processes for collecting, processing, and using customer personal data
• Supporting new product launches from the data side: which personal data is collected, which legal consents are required, and how regulatory requirements are met
• Collecting and documenting requirements from product teams and Compliance and translating them into changes in our systems
• Building and maintaining business processes for new product launches
• Setting up and developing data quality metrics (DQC) and monitoring them on a regular basis
• Checking that master data is transferred correctly between systems and investigating the root causes of discrepancies and anomalies
• Contributing to the rules for deduplication, merging, identification, and version management
• Analyzing current processes for handling personal data: collection, validation, normalization, deduplication, addresses, and documents
• Preparing documentation and artifacts (BPMN, UML, data flow diagrams)
• Coordinating day-to-day communication between product teams, Compliance, KYC, and Origination
