Job summary

Paradigm Technology seeks a skilled IT Business Analyst to work on internal and client IT projects. The role requires onsite presence in Chattanooga or Knoxville, TN a couple of days a week, twice per month, within a hybrid work model.

You will lead requirements gathering, document business processes, and translate needs into system specifications, collaborating with stakeholders and implementation teams across the SDLC using Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years IT Business Analysis experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Systems Analysis experience including reading/updating system, data flow, integrations, and architectural diagrams.
• Working according to the SDLC using Agile methodologies.
• Basic UX/UI awareness.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee identification of business critical information, usage, availability, and needs of constituencies.
• Conduct interviews, joint application design sessions, data mining to understand/document business processes.
• Identify areas for improvement in business processes and develop systems requirements documents.
• Document business processes to ensure system integration and minimize data/process duplication.
• Develop data/process designs and prototypes to aid requirements gathering and verification.
• Evaluate system alternatives and conduct cost/benefit studies for development or implementation projects.

Summary:

• Seeking a Business Analyst to work on IT projects

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the identification of business critical internal and external information and knowledge, its usage, availability, and the needs of the various constituencies that may require such information or knowledge
• Able, through interviews, joint application design sessions, data mining, and general insights, to understand and document related business processes
• Recognize areas for improvement in business processes and develop systems requirement documents that can be easily translated into a systems specification by a system or programmer analyst
• Perform the following activities: business process flow: documentation and re-engineering information and data flow: documentation ensures business system integration, minimizing data and process duplication
• Develop conceptual data and process designs and data flows creates working prototypes to aid in requirements gathering and verification completes business systems requirements studies, including documentation (system prospectus)
• Determine and evaluate system alternatives to meet business needs conducts cost/benefit studies for system development or implementation projects

Qualifications:

• 4-6+ years of IT Business Analysis experience
• Candidates must have experience with Microsoft 365
• Systems Analysis experience, including the ability to read and update system, data flow, integrations, and architectural diagrams
• Working according to the SDLC using Agile Methodologies
• Basic UX/UI Awareness
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent real-world experience may be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Visio Desktop or Lucidchart is preferred
• Experience with Azure DevOps is preferred
• Experience with ServiceNow is preferred
