Job summary

Irvine Technology Corporation is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and data-driven solutions in a hybrid Brentwood, TN environment. This 6-month contract supports data science, BI, and analytics efforts, translating requirements into actionable specs and dashboards.

Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams, delivering Power BI analytics, and coordinating UAT while documenting results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in analytics/project support.
• Experience gathering requirements, creating user stories, and translating needs.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and strong communication.
• Experience with BI/reporting analytics; familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, IS or related field; Agile/UAT knowledge a plus.

• Partner with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and BI teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, discovery sessions, and workshops to identify business needs, define KPIs, and support analytics initiatives.
• Support the development, validation, and delivery of Power BI dashboards, reports, and other analytics solutions, including coordinating UAT and documenting results.
• Maintain project documentation, business processes, requirements, risks, and action items while identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Support change management, user training, and adoption of reporting and analytics solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Business Analyst – Data Science & Analytics

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support data science, business intelligence, and analytics initiatives. This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements and supporting the delivery of reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate has strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, with experience supporting data-driven projects in a collaborative environment.

Location: Brentwood, TN 37027 – Hybrid (3–4 days onsite)

Compensation: $60–$70/hr W2

Duration: 6-month contract with potential to extend

What You’ll Do:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; knowledge of Agile methodologies and UAT processes is a plus.
