Old Dominion Freight Line is hiring a Business Analyst to analyze existing systems and processes, and to translate business needs into concrete design and backlog items. You will partner with stakeholders, document requirements, and help drive Agile-driven improvements across OD technology platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring traceability of process changes, and delivering clear functional specifications for new development and major enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• 4 years of working experience in an Information Technology environment as a Business Analyst.
• Proficiency with system/application design and end user support.
• Experience with Workday integrations and SAP/HANA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing systems and business processes to identify improvements and deliver solution designs.
• Translate business requirements into backlog items for development teams and ensure clear understanding.
• Maintain business process documentation and ensure traceability across domains.
• Collaborate with other analysts and agile teams to standardize processes and documentation.
• Provide functional design specifications for new development and major enhancements.
• Develop interfaces with designers and work with testing to create functional test cases and automation.
