Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to analyze existing systems, define improvements, and translate business requirements into actionable designs.

You will partner with stakeholders, document specifications, and collaborate with agile teams to deliver enhanced processes and interfaces. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, 4 years in IT, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of IT experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Proficient with system/application design and end user support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to document requirements and communicate them clearly.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work as a team player.
• Ability to mentor others.

Responsabilités

• Develop requirements for process or system solutions spanning multiple domains and document details for the development team.
• Break down partner stories into backlog items and ensure understanding of each requirement.
• Maintain business process documentation with changes to ensure traceability.
• Ensure all required documentation is complete and stored properly.
• Collaborate with other analysts and scrum teams for consistency in processes and documentation.
• Provide functional design specifications for new development and major enhancements.
• Work with designers to create interfaces that satisfy business requirements.
• Develop and maintain functional test cases and automated scripts for load and regression testing.
• Provide acceptance criteria for all requirements and facilitate user acceptance testing.
• Review and remediate defects from regression and load testing.
• Participate in customer demos for complete application requirements.
• Verify production changes and coordinate with affected business units.
• Gain understanding of supported business areas and analyze problems to propose improvements.
• Maintain IT relationships to ensure compliance with SDLC and related processes.
• Assist in creating training materials with OD Technology Training team.
