Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze processes, define requirements, and drive improvements across multiple business domains. You will collaborate with design, QA, and stakeholder teams to deliver functional specifications and robust interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• 4+ years of IT experience in an Information Technology environment as a Business Analyst.
• Proficient with system/app design and end user support; strong communication skills.
• Experience in an Agile development environment; ability to document requirements clearly.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications; mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business problems and recommend improvements and/or solutions.
• Develop requirements for processes or systems spanning multiple domains.
• Create functional design specifications for new development and major enhancements.
• Collaborate with designers to create interfaces that meet business needs.
• Work with testing teams to develop test cases and automated scripts.
• Ensure documentation is complete and maintained; facilitate UAT.
• Participate in Agile scrums and meet project timelines.
