Job summary

Maximus is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support large child welfare system modernization initiatives. You will translate program, policy, and stakeholder needs into clear business requirements, document processes, create functional specifications, and deliver project artifacts.

You will work with client leadership, program staff, technical teams, vendors, and PMO resources to ensure alignment with federal/state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in business analysis or system modernization.
• Experience in government health and human services programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting project activities for various projects.
• Analyze complex data and identify patterns, recommend actions, and measure outcomes.
• Coordinate with technical staff to understand business requirements, specifications, and processes.
• Conduct market research and understand market trends.
• Create system functional specifications from business requirements.
• Interact with organization and client managers.
• Perform cost/schedule monitoring.
• Identify additional product and service opportunities in customer organization.
