Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Business Analyst to translate client needs into clear requirements and specifications for child welfare modernization projects. You will work with client leadership, program staff, technical teams, and vendors to validate workflows and align system functionality with program goals.

You will analyze data, document processes, support traceability, and help ensure readiness across requirements, design, testing, and deployment activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
Experience documenting business requirements, functional specs, and user stories.

Responsibilities

Translate program and stakeholder needs into clear business requirements and specifications.
Analyze complex data, identify patterns, and measure outcomes.
Coordinate with technical staff to understand requirements and processes.
Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and data requirements.
Prepare client-ready deliverables and support testing and go-live readiness.
