Job summary

Maximus is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support large child welfare system modernization initiatives. You will translate program, policy, and stakeholder needs into clear business requirements, process documentation, and functional specifications for project deliverables.

You will collaborate with client leadership, program staff, technical teams, vendors, IV&V or PMO resources, and other stakeholders to validate workflows, identify gaps, and ensure alignment between business objectives

Qualifications

• >- Bachelor's degree in related field; 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
• - Four (4) years of current, relevant experience in business analysis, requirements elicitation, process improvement, or system implementation support for government programs.
• - Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• - Knowledge of CCWIS/IV&V/PMO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting project activities for various projects.
• Analyze complex data and identify patterns, recommend actions, and measure outcomes.
• Coordinate with technical staff to understand business requirements, specifications, and processes.
• Create system functional specifications from business requirements.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Support traceability between objectives, requirements, system design, testing, and readiness.
